The 8-Week Blueprint to
Work-Life Greatness
An Online Course
The Blueprint PROMISE:
Break through the invisible overload of motherhood and
get your dream work-life balance and integration.
Do these problems sound familiar?
You're managing a challenging career, a family life filled with
homework and extra-curricular activities, and the invisible tasks
that glue it all together. Society rewards you for managing it all, but the constant juggling leaves you feeling overwhelmed
and tired. Each day begins with a mad rush and ends with
exhaustion.
You read books and listen to podcasts for tips on how to manage it all, but none of the advice ever sticks. You're unsure of how to make lasting changes and get stuck in a constant cycle of overwhelm.

You're time-poor. But the faster you go, and the harder you work, the less you feel as if you're living your life right. You want to say no more often, but you feel guilty about letting other people down. Your stress levels are high. You can't turn your brain off at night-time.
It's a familiar frustrating story for many women in medicine—the incessant juggling of too many tasks and yet still not feeling good enough. Each morning, you wake up in the dark while maneuvering
through your to-do list in your mind.
Your day is a chaotic blend
of navigating work demands while managing the needs of
your children and aging parents. The pressure to be the perfect
mother, dedicated doctor, and loving partner is overwhelming.
You’ve tried to create boundaries and manage your workload
better, but every attempt feels inadequate. Whether it's late
night paperwork that cuts into precious family time or the
emotional toll of coordinating your parents' healthcare, there's
always something pulling at your attention.
The fleeting
moments you’ve carved out for self-care feel insufficient when
stacked against the avalanche of tasks demanding your
attention.
You find yourself often saying yes to patients who demand more
of your time and energy, leaving almost no opportunity for a real
break during the day.
You might envy the other moms who seem
to have it all—why does it look so easy for them? The guilt
creeps in when you realize you’re not the mom you always
envisioned. Maybe your children express the wish that you were
“more fun and easy-going like so-and-so's mom."
Do you recognize this pain?
I understand your struggles deeply.
As an emergency doctor,
wife, and mother of two young kids, I know what it feels like to work a shift without adequate sleep, extricate myself from the
hospital to get to a concert recital or hockey practice, then try
to get a decent meal into my kids that isn't all beige.
Between homework help, extra-curricular activities, eldercare,
and shift work--my schedule is beyond full.
But life doesn't have to feel this high-speed. When you follow a clear coaching process, you can have a better life while doing LESS. After more than a decade learning about what makes life great, I've realized that SUBTRACTION is the key factor between those who struggle and those who thrive. You heard me correctly.
You can be less busy AND have a better life.
A stepwise, 2 x 2 visual decision-making process to confidently make choices that honour your dreams. Four quadrants. Four approaches.
"Easy-no" choices are non-essential tasks.
"Difficult-no" choices are guilt-driven commitments.
"Easy-yes" choices are how you will
measure success in your life.
"Difficult-yes" choices are the ripples you will leave long after you are gone.
“I would highly recommend coaching with Dawn. It is obvious that she cares deeeply and is committed to it.”

I've put the highlights into one easy course
This course is designed by a mother-doctor-coach with fellow busy mother-doctors in mind who are experiencing burnout and overload. But if you like what you hear and don't mind occasional medical examples, then you're welcome to join! Whether you work outside of the home or not, whether you have kids or not, whether you identify as a woman or not, the basic principles still apply.
Frequently Asked Questions
The course is designed to help you learn my step-by-step approach to work-life integration--I call it 'work-life greatness!" This course is like having a coach in your back pocket--much of what I teach my private clients will be included in the online course.
No, this course is not accredited with the FRCP or CFPC. But as with all coaching, you can apply for self-learning credits.
Individualized coaching is intense and highly personalized. We spend 8 hours together, virtually but in real-time to address your personal big goal. You receive direct accountability from me and will experience much faster results. This is a high-touch experience that is great for people who are ready to do the hard work now.
The online course assumes your problem is burnout and motherhood overload. The modules are tailored to this problem and are pre-recorded. You can email me your questions, but the support is asynchronous. The course is available for less than 1/6 the cost of coaching with me.
The short answer is yes. I suggest you work through the lessons and modules in the order presented since each step builds on the previous one. I also recommend doing the exercises that accompany each lesson since that is where the inner work happens. It's not enough to know what to do. You have to apply it.
You can try the course for 7 days before you are charged the price of the course. If it's not for you, write to me and I'll take care of the rest.
What is your daily salary? Compare that to how many years you have felt burnt out and overloaded.
How much did you spend on your last medical conference? With hotel, registration, and airfare, you easily spent $3000+. And for what? Did your life change? What was the ROI on that money?
Your time is your most valuable and limited resource. How much does it cost you, from a mental toll and lost time with your family, if you're burnt out and stuck in the invisible load? That's a very personal reflection. Every year you're unhappy costs you emotionally, physically, and financially.
If you try to do this work on your own, how many hours will that take you? It's not free to DIY. It's your salary x every hour you invest in trying things out! I've done ten years of hard work and spent over $150K to learn this material so you can have a clear path of the actions that matter. I've simplified the best lessons into one tidy package.
There is really only one way to tell...
No...this process is centred on behavioural change as it applies to overload.
